End of the « vaccine pass »
As of the 1st August 2022, no proof of vaccination or recovery from Covid infection will be requested (neither vaccination certificate nor proof of recovery).
Travel health certificate
The bill distinguishes two cases in which the government may, until the 31st March 2023, require travellers over 12 years of age to present a negative Covid test on departure or arrival to mainland France or the overseas territories:
- To mainland from all countries: in the event of the emergence of a dangerous variant, likely to constitute a serious health threat,
- To overseas territories from mainland: in case of risk of saturation of the hospitals.
These measures, taken after the committee's opinion, may be put into effect by decree for a maximum period of two months, and are subject to a vote by Parliament after this period.
